The North Idaho Fair has arrived in Coeur d'Alene, the first two days it poured and it was cold and miserable but today The Heavens smiled on us and it was a perfect day to take two little girls and their mommy to the fair. We had a really fun time, the girls road some rides, we ate some very fattening food and went to see some gorgeous horses. When we were leaving they have this Kids Zone so we had to stop there and let the girls play in there for awhile. I love country fairs!!

Riverfront Park Spokane Wa
Friday was a very hot but very fun day for Me, ( Teri) my sister Cheryl, her step daughter Heidi , Heidi's little girls Emma and Chloe, Madyson and Kylah. Heidi and her daughters are from California and got to spend the week with Cheryl so we all decided to go to River Front park and have a picnic, play in water, ride some rides and of course go on the huge merry go round. It was sooo hot so once we got to the water fountain part of the park the kids did not want to go home. Felt so refreshing!!! All in all it was a fun day.

Sisters
Today Was such a beautiful day in Coeur d'Alene that I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to take the girls pictures, it did not come with out a price tho, I promised them if they would be patient and let me take their pictures then I would take them to the dollar store and they could pick out 5 things each. They were both very good sports and were very patient with me. Kylah who is 5 is in the dress, and sister Maddy will be 8 on Sunday.

Welcome Home Madyson and Kylah
The Girls got home last night, We were so excited to see them and have them home again. It was a nice
Break to have them up in Squim and Grandma Kathy had a wonderful time with them but we are
Happy they are home. The house is noisy and disoganized and I have to repeat myself a thousand times
But we would not have it any other way. Madyson missed the kitty Piper so much she hardly will
leave her alone, poor kitty! So we only have a few weeks before school starts so we are going to be
very busy the next few weeks. Maddy has her 8th birthday coming up so we need to plan that as
well.

A small surgery for Logan
A few weeks ago Logan came to me and told me he had a lump in his oh so delicate private area, I took him to our doctor right away, upon examination they could not determine what the lump was so they sent us to a Urologist.... a great guy by the name of Dr. Ellison. Well Dr. E was perplexed and could not determine what this lump was so they did an ultra sound and still they could not get a clear picutre of this mass that did not belong where it was! So from there we were sent to the Imaging center for a Eurethragram, this was not a pleasent experience for Logan but we had to determine what this was. A few days later we are back at Dr. Ellison's office and he tells us that he just did not feel comfortable with this lumb being there and felt it needed to come out and be sent to a pathologist sooo we made the arrangements to have a small procedure at Kootenai Medical out patient center. This little surgery did not take more then 45 minutes and before we knew it they were sending us home. The mass was sent to a pathologist and we will know what it is by Tuesday. Logan has been a great sport thru it all, he is a bit sore but will make a full recovery.

Stephanie and Brett in Europe
Steph and Brett just returned from a fabulous trip to Europe, they got to go to Europe becuase Bretts job took them there...how lucky for them. It was not all pleasurable, they did have to work, poor kids!! They were in Holland for 2 weeks and then spent the last two days of their trip in Paris France. Lets see...George and I have been married for almost 30 years and have never been to Europe and Kimmy and Ben are going to Italy for their first anniversary. HHHMMMM...seems like George and I should be going to Italy for our 30th anniversary!! All kidding aside I am glad that they are able to travel and have some fun before the babies start coming. So below are a few pictures of their trip abroad. Some day we will get there!

Missing Maddy and Ky
Madyson and Kylah have been gone since the first part of July, they are up in Squim Wa visiting Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Steve, Aunt Mari and their Uncles. They have been having a wonderful time and I know that Kathy is enjoying having them there but we are missing them like crazy. Papa has no one to go fishing with becuase Maddy is his fishing buddy... and I have been dying to take them to the beach or Sliverwood or Wild Waters and I can't because they are not here!!! Good news is they will be home on the 9th of August and then we will have some summer left to spend with them. The house has stayed clean and it has been really quite but we realize that since they have been gone our house is not the same without them! We love them so much and can't wait for their return and then there will be tons of new pictures of our little girls!

For Georges birthday we took a little trip acorss the border to Trout Creek Montana, a town with a population of about 200 people give or take a few. We met our friend Duane Kessel there, he brought his bass fishing boat so Logan and George could go fishing. We stayed in these very quaint little cabins, it had everything we needed, a small kitchen area, enough beds for at least 3 people, a t.v. with HBO... and of course a bathroom. They were set in the woods and just standing outside you could smell the pine trees. It was just about perfect. Logan did not want to go fishing the second day so we hung out down by the boat dock and waited for George and Duane to come back and then we all gathered for lunch and then came home. I am sure we will visit Trout Creek Montana again.
