Winter Fun

Kim took the kids out to Whitneys the other day and the kids got to do some sledding and then come in for some hot chocolate. Fun day.

Christmas day was beautiful, unfortunately George woke up sick so I went to church alone, we had a nice program and only Sacrament meeting so we were done by 9:30- I then went home and changed clothes and headed out to Osburn, the drive was gorgeous and everything went great. Osburn had a lot of snow, so when I got there Whitney was making breakfast for everyone and Fynn was putting the finishing touches on treats for the neighbors. Soon Jeff Joan and Evan arrived with more gifts for the kids.. we ate and then got everyone dressed for snow, Jared put the kids on a sled and we headed off to the neighbors to hand out treats. We then drove to Burke and took some pictures but it was so cold we had to get back. I then gathered Kylah with her things and we headed to Spokane to have dinner with Steph and Brett. I had to have Kylah to the airport by 7 as she was flying to Seattle to spend Christmas with her grandma and Dad. So it was a busy day and a truely wonderful day.

Fun Christmas pictures.

December was filled with so many fun activities, we always take the kids to see Santa and this year we went to the Santa in the CDA mall, the line was very long but the kids did good and we finally got our chance for a picture with the kids on Santas lap. That night Cheryl and I took the 3 older ones down to the resort to see the lights and then on to the candy and toy store. It was a lot of fun, it started snowing and it was so gorgeous and the kids just wanted to play in the snow. Jaxon Brayden and Fynn then came to my house for a sleep over and watching the Grinch. They definitely had way to much sugar but fun all in all.

Christmas Eve Dinner

We had so much fun at our family Christmas eve dinner, now that Kim and Ben have a new big house, this is the gathering place for all family activities. Us girls had an Ugly sweater contest, Maddy and Stephs were really cute, But Cheryls sweater won hands down. We exchanged gifts and were entertained by the Fromms who did a dance for us. I so love this time of the year. Christmas fell on a Sunday this year and church started at 8:30, I had to be there very early so Ryan George and I opened our presents that night. George got me everything on my list...he did good. Christmas day, went to church and then drove out to Osburn to spend part of the day with Whitney and Jared. It was a perfectly lovely day.
