Day 4 Lake Lure NC

This is one of my favorite days, we drove for about an hour to this gorgeous little hidden town where part of dirty dancing was filmed. It is a quaint little town surrounded by this beautiful lake. It was a hot day so we could not wait to jump in the lake, first we visited this little panning for gold place along the highway, Georgia and Melanie were loving that, had ice cream and then headed to the lake. The water felt fabulous! So wonderful, we spent all day there..oh on the way down we stopped at this really cool antique/gift store and on the way back we stopped at some roadside fruite and gift stands. The drive was gorgeous, little country churches dot the highway, homes tucked away in the hills, trees everywhere, just so breathtaking. Such a fun day.
