Snow Wonderful

We have had a lot of fresh new soft snow in town the past couple of days and today I could not resist a picture opportunity. Such beauty surrounds us, we are so blessed.

Christmas was great...All the kids were home, Melanies in-laws are here from North Carolina, Madyson and kylah got lots of neat things, My brother Ken cooked a delicious dinner for us all. It was sweet to be with family and spend time with one another.

Cookie Decorating Party

Saturday afternoon I had a little cookie decorating party for Madyson and Kylah and some of their friends... Steph, Brett, Kyra, Makenna, kim and Ben came too. The girls went crazy with the frosting and sprinkles but they had fun. It started snowing that afternoon too so it was very Christmasy!

My College Girl and her new apartment

Whitney has left the nest for her an independent life of her own. She has moved to Mosow to attend the University of Idaho and live in her new apartment with 2 of her best friends from high school. Kim and I went down Sunday night to spend the night with her and check out her new place. She and the girls have it deocrated soo cute. The other girls were home for the Holidays so I didn't get any pictures of them. We had a fun time with Whitney and we will miss her at home.

Breakfast with Santa

This morning at Kylah's school they held a breakfast with Santa for K-3rd grade. It was sweet, Santa sat in a rocking chair and read a book to the children that were gathered around him and then he was patient as children climbed on his lap for a picture. Then the kids had a little breakfast served by Santa helpers ( 5th graders).

The Nutkracker Ballet

What a fun exciting night we had tonight, Kylah and I attended the Nutkracker ballet with our friend Amy and her daughter Julie and a little neighbor girl Zoe. Kylah LOVED it, she sat in her seat and watched in amazment the whole time. It was beautiful. During Intermission we bought a ballerina ornament and got pictures taken with some of the ballerina's from the ballet. I hope this is something she will remember for a long time.
