Welcome Home Kylah!!

Kylah is a home girl and that is all there is to it! She has been so homesick since they moved back to SC 3 years ago, she has wanted to come back home for years, Well Melanie has agreed to let her stay with Whitney and Jared for a school year and see how she does. She got here last Saturday and ever since she has been so happy, she tells me everyday "grandma I am so happy to be home" and we are happy to have her home. Today she went to Silverwood with Steph and Kim and their kids, the other day we went to Whitney's and babysat while Whit and Jared had a date. She is great with little kids so Whitney will have a great helper once she gets settled in out there. While we were out at Whitney's we did a little photo shoot...this is what I love about her, she always lets me take her picture!!!

I took on quite a big project this summer, for 7 seven years we have lived in this house, and for 7 years I have hated the outside of it, that ugly peach color with green trim was hideous, who does that to their house?? Anyways I had a vision in my head of exactly what I wanted. Everything turned out great, my only disappointment was that new door that I got even after measuring did not fit, George and Ryan said they could fix it so I hope they can. I Had to paint out ugly front door until the new one can be installed. Cheryl came over and helped me to the brick porch. I love the new look, now I am doing the living room and kitchen!!

Oh How I love Summer.

I wish I had a job where I could take the whole summer off. I love Summer, I love the warm weather, laying out in my hammock in the front yard, going to my sisters and hanging out in her pool, going to Mill River and watching the kids play in the river, bar-b-q's, warm summer night walks, planting a garden and flowers in my front yard. Going out for ice cream, wearing summer dresses, enjoying all the beauty this town offers me. I dont want it to end!!
