Sweet 16

Our oldest granddaughter turns 16 in August and we knew that we would not be together as a family on her real birthday date because she she would be back in North Carolina, so we threw her a surprise sweet 16 party, we planned this awhile ago and tried really hard to keep it a secret , it was leaked out several times but she knew nothing about it and was completely surprised!! We held in Stephs backyard, some of her friends came, we made her favorite dinner, gave her presents and made her blow out candles on a birthday cake. Maddy is beautiful inside and out, she is so smart and has a good head on her shoulders. She has been living with Steph this past year and going to high school in Spokane. It was wonderful having her close by all year. WE will miss her and we love her so much.
